Right now, the job market is still amazing for the employee. Currently there are 10.3 million openings, but that’s more than all of the unemployed adults in the US. Tech is still the highest demand area, even though this was a major year for layoffs in the tech sector. Nearly 80% of tech workers are finding new roles within 3 months of leaving their old position. A bad stale idea, was that IT served as a drain on the company, but now many companies realize that tech helps to find efficiencies, and automate the mundane. This is a time where they want to leverage tech to improve bottom lines, and make the company operate better than ever before.
