This comes just when I think that the drama of FTX couldn’t get any worse… when I thought we could move away from the story. Apparently Sam Bankman-Fried has met with the writer for “Moneyball” and “The Big Short”. Of course, that leads to speculation that the scam artist is now looking for ways to further capitalize, and save his skin, through a book or movie deal. It’s sad that he’ll probably still make money off of his failed venture, and I’m sure people will pay to read or see it. There’s no doubt in my mind that it’ll be successful, as people will want to understand the first big crypto trainwreck, but I find it distasteful at the moment.
