While Netflix added 7.6 million viewers worldwide last quarter, Disney Plus lost 2.4 million. This is not good news for the Mouse, as while it was up in the United States and some locations, they took a 3.8 million view hit in India and Southeast Asia. Streaming subscriptions are going to continue in a battlefield, with the average home in the US planning to axe one service in 2023.
