GPT-4 is on the way. If you’ve tinkered with ChatGPT or some of the other variant’s, you’ve been using GPT-3 or 3.5, unless you’ve been using Bing. Before you start thinking GPT-4 is an amazing evolution, it’s not… it’s subtle, nuanced, and still moving forward at a predictable pace. There will be stories of how it’s passing the Bar, and all, but it’s relying on text evaluation, and gleaning research from the Internet. There will be a continuing evolution of the tech, whether we are talking about the text recognition and responses, or things like images and other models.
