Recently, we talked about Netflix’s DVD service. Netflix just announced this week that as of this September, it will be closing that portion of their business down. Interesting, as DVD is what put Netflix on the map some 25 years ago. I was one of the first to use Netflix for DVDs, and one of the early streaming customers. While I no longer subscribe to the DVD service, I imagine that Netflix has a good pulse on the decline of that portion of their business, and the many people who also have moved to streaming. Even in my home, we have hundreds of DVDs, but I don’t think we watch but a few of them these days.
