A military data leak was tracked down this week to a 21 year old member of the intelligence wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. Some of the leaked information is being announced as true, while other pieces are false. This data dump was on a series of public servers called by an unfortunate name of Discord, but they are usually used for chats, video games, and more. The volume of data, and also the location, clearly indicate that this is not a protected whistleblower activity, nor as serious as it could have been. It reflects that data breaches do happen everywhere.

FBI agents arrested Jack Teixeira “without incident” Thursday afternoon, report says.
