Disney built an extravagant experience called the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. It’s a massive, immersive journey across to a galaxy far far away, bah blah blah… $6,000 for a couple to spend two days doing a Live Action Role Play of Star Wars in Florida, just seems unapproachable for most. Now, even with the many rave reviews from the rich folk who did partake of fine foods, it seems Disney has decided to pull the plug just a little over a year into the adventure. It seems that the last trip into hyperspace will be September 28th, and after that, it’ll just be a memory.
Disney will shutter its elaborate (and expensive) Star Wars immersive experience in Florida in September.
