I generally use the latest and greatest of the operating systems. I do, however, take the approach that users should have the power they wish, to select the versions they want. Microsoft has announced that those using Windows 10 21H2 will be auto-updated soon to 22H2, which is going to be the final release of Windows 10. For them, it makes things easier for security support, but it’s still an intrusive action that will happen soon. Windows 10 is still very popular, but Microsoft is pushing to bring us as far as they can get away with. We’ll see how this all plays out. They haven’t said when this will happen, but be prepared to have things updated in the coming month or so.
Those still using Windows 10 version 21H2 have about a month until support ends, which means there will be no more security updates or other measures after that.
