AI had a lot of different news this week, from various malware sites trying to lure people looking for ChatGPT, to various members of the AI world being summoned to the White House. Even the President got involved with three executive actions, including $140 million to various AI research institutions. Defcon, an event in Las Vegas in August, will also feature some heavy duty testing sponsored by the government. By then, there will be draft policies on how the Federal government can and cannot use AI against us… or rather, how to serve us. Yes, like that famous Twilight Zone episode, where the book “How to Serve Man”… was a cookbook.
The Biden administration aims to keep up with a rapidly evolving new technology.
