AI can perform some strange tricks these days. One of the latest is that with a microphone and the right programming, it can now determine your password and whatever other keys you hit, just by listening to many nuances involved. It has to do with the intensity, the delay between strokes, as well as the waveform, presumably inferring distance from other keystrokes. Now, this was done through cheap equipment, recording here and there, and even over Skype and Zoom for testing. It’s a creepy idea, but it was likely to come at some point. I’ve known fellow techs who joked about that ability to hear it for themselves…. ahh well.

Researchers have found an AI-driven attack that can steal passwords with up to 95% accuracy by listening to what you type on your keyboard.
