We knew this was coming soon. Old style TV viewing has been passed up by other items like streaming for the first time for numbers from last month (July). Now, this includes DVD, and gaming, but this should indicate to the TV networks that their demise is coming if they don’t change things. For instance, Blue Bloods first season was 12 1/2 million viewers, but only ranked 19th of all shows. Their 2021 season had only 9.8 million, but they placed 6th of all shows. Yet, for all of that, last month, the show we watched the most was Suits, which ended in 2018, and it’s now on Netflix. Things will continue to change.
