Amazon has released the latest version of their Echo Frames… smart glasses that are audio only. The bass is supposed to be better, but is still lacking. The audio will bleed enough so others can hear at times. The battery life is six hours, so not ideal. Speech processing is supposed to be 10 times better, but do we really need to have Amazon Alexa attached to our face? The frames cost about what normal frames cost at retail, so it’s not so bad, until you realize that you normally have a subsidy from your medical coverage. It’s an idea that future releases may make it comfortable, but I have struggled with the idea of this, and expect I will for a while.

We wore the new Echo Frames to try the updated audio and faster Alexa responses.
