Streaming prices have been getting a bit wild, and Apple announced this week that they’ll be bumping the Apple TV+ service again in less than a year. This is the fastest of any of the services, as they move from $7 to $10 a month. This is worse, as they were $5 a year ago. Crazier yet, Apple bumped Apple Arcade by $2, and Apple news up by $3. While the Apple content is amazing, it only has a few items that hold allure for me, making me wonder why the major jumps in pricing. Apple has often seemed to have been filled with hubris, and I think this represents an unwarranted continuation.
And that’s not the only service that will cost more.
