Stats are still looking bad for the long term of EV’s. Over 1/2 of polled people said they weren’t looking to purchase an EV for their next car. Another study showed that over 1/2 of the previous owners of non-Tesla EVs went on to purchase a non-EV as their next car. The one exception was evident in that study, where Tesla owners appear to have a serious brand or tech loyalty, with 76% going on to purchase another EV. EV sales continue to climb, and the industry is keeping pace… but is it going to be sustainable if they can’t entice repeat customers?

A new poll suggests that a majority of Americans aren’t interested in giving up gasoline quite yet.
