X, formerly known as Twitter, is proposing a $1 a year price to eliminate bots and spam, to weed out fake accounts, and it seems everyone wanted to accuse them of driving profits, of killing the idea of social media, and lots more. I think this minimal fee is reasonable, if kept like this, and may accomplish far more success in an arena that struggles with controlling the bad element, and eliminating them out of our lives. I’d like to see them assure us of reasonability by offering a one-time fee of $5 for 5 years or perhaps even longer.
