The top 20 passwords list for 2023 was released. Fortunately, gone are some of the various foul words, but a series of numbers makes up the list rather quickly. Password itself comes in at 7, admin at 2 for the first time in years, and a few other variations fall in line there. If you do nothing else after hearing this, consider changing your password to something obscure that nobody will be able to hack. 15-20 characters seems scary the first time you do it, but after a while, it just becomes rote, and nearly unbreakable. Abbreviations over real words, and sprinkle numbers and special characters along the way.
