The Tesla Cybertruck is now officially a road vehicle. Elon Musk rolled into a short 30 minute event to start off the deliveries to people who have been waiting years for this thing. The bad news for right now is that the truck is more expensive than what was ever expected, but people are apparently excited for it. The specs on the top model Cyberbeast are 320 mile range, with a 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, and a top speed of 130… for a cool $100k. All wheel drive will be a little different, but at $80k, and the base model at a mundane 0-60 of nearly 7 seconds will run you $61k… but won’t be available for over a year.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk handed over the first Cybertrucks to customers at an event at its Texas gigafactory. Here are all the details.
