The second Tuesday of every month is Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday. This week, they set a new record with an announcement of the update fixing 147 security issues in its software, marking a record-breaking month for such fixes. Among these, three were flagged as very risky in Microsoft Defender for IoT, while nearly all the others were also seen as dangerous. Despite these problems not yet being used in cyberattacks, the situation could change quickly. Even more, a specific vulnerability in Windows Smart Screen was already exploited in the wild. To set you at ease, know that this is a common strive across all major software, as the hackers grow in size, and seek to earn their own money off our ransom payments.

On Patch Tuesday in April, Microsoft fixed a total of 147 security vulnerabilities. These include three vulnerabilities that Microsoft classifies as critical.
