The US Department of Justice is chasing Adobe for aggressive contracts labelled as Annual, Paid Monthly, without clear enough descriptions on the fact that it’s annual. On top of the core issue, the cancellation process was accused of being onerous and complicated, with Early Termination Fees that amounted to hundreds of dollars. My approach would have been different, were I in charge. I’d have it customers can leave anytime they want, and let’s make it easy, then entice them to stay with superior product, amazing innovations, and more. Perhaps that’s why I’m not a gazillionaire?
