DJI, the drone manufacturer from China, lost their battle in the House, and now the ban heads to the Senate. This has to do with the Countering CCP Drones Act, an attempt to prevent pictures and other data from getting sent back to China. DJI drones account for as much as 70% of the US market, with no clear winner to take the space. The reports are that this will only affect any new products, by severing the ability to get FCC and FAA permissions to proceed. An odd approach when we talk about something that is considered so important to many hobbyists and professionals.
