I would have hoped that people who have enough knowledge to deal in Bitcoin, would have the sense to avoid an obvious scam like this. I was wrong. At least $100,000 has been pulled in with this trick, and Twitter is scrambling to prevent more.
The accounts briefly posted messages that promised to double Bitcoin contributions.
