Adobe Flash has been hated for years. Apple immediately didn’t support it on iPhones or iPads, and many others haven’t been fond of it. Microsoft, in the latest Windows 10 update, has given it a permanent shove to the side by killing it and preventing reinstall. Adobe has said that they will end it this year… which is probably one of the few bits of good news we’ve seen in 2020.

Microsoft has released an optional Catalog update that removes Adobe Flash from Windows 10 and prevents it from being reinstalled, paving the way for the eventual death of the app in 2021.
