It saddens me when we see a good product die. I’ve had three Logitech Harmony remotes, and currently own the last one that I’ll have. It’s not because I had any problems, dislike it, or anything like that. Logitech is retiring the best series of universal remotes available. 4 out of the 6 best remotes, as per C-Net, were in the series. They blame streaming hardware, and the fact that the remotes were such a small part of their business. I’m hoping that I never have to experience the replacement process again.
Logitech will no longer make its well-loved line of Harmony universal remotes, but the devices will be available in retail stores while supplies last. The company said it plans to continue offering service and support for existing remotes.
