DoorDash is messing with pricing… on both sides. Their new approach is to offer 3 levels, where restaurants who pay out a lower commission, will still see customers charged higher fees. Give up more of your income, and the customers will pay less of a surcharge. DoorDash has realized that they don’t have to bargain, and leave the control to the restaurant, and customers pay the price either way. Not thrilling, but what we have to deal with.
