The latest handheld game device may just have been announced this week from Valve. Valve started in the late ’90s with a few popular games, including Half-Life, and built itself into the gaming empire called Steam. The new Steam Deck is a 7 inch Linux based system that may actually also be able to run Windows, and will definitely run a number of Steam games. $400 this Christmas will make some kids rather happy, I imagine, and some adults too!

Valve is bringing handheld PC gaming to the mainstream with Steam Deck. The 7-inch device can even run Windows, providing access to the more than 50,000 games on Steam.
