Changes coming to the Google platforms are coming to keep youth under 18 from trouble. Issues include preventing access to bad stuff, allowing them to delete their images from results, changing advertising to a much tamer level, and location history will be turned off. YouTube and Google are following Facebook and Instagram in their previous efforts, and that’s important. What’s concerning is why they never did this before.

The policy changes aim to provide more online safety for the accounts and content posted by young people.
