Micron, the 6 leading chip manufacturer in the world by volume, is looking to expand United States production with the building of a new memory factory here. They do have their hand out at the ideal time for government funds as people are starting to grow concerned over the demand. Various ripples due to fires, work stoppages, shipping issues, and more have raised the alarm that less than 2% of memory manufacturing occurs here. As the meme goes… products made in the United States don’t get stuck on ships from China.
