Taking an Uber, but you’re disabled? Apparently there has been an extra fee added for taking too long to get in or out of the car. The USDOJ is working to fix this and bring Uber into compliance with the American’s with Disabilities Act. Frankly, I’m not surprised, but I am sickened. Uber claimed they would refund charges anytime a disabled rider asks, but that should never be the case.

The department says Uber is violating the ADA by charging “wait time” fees to disabled passengers.
