A week ago, Facebook announced their corporate name to be Meta. Amongst the bad press, comes some really bad news… a one year old PC manufacturer based out of Arizona already grew large enough to trademark Meta. MetaPCs formally files the trademark “Meta” for computers, tablets, and software. Their filing was very broad, and that could mean some pain, but it also meant they could offer Mark Zuckerberg a $20 million deal for them to rebrand. Their company sells some very sweet custom gaming rigs, and now their name recognition is sky high.

The social network had been seeking a facelift of sorts that would rebrand the company as “Meta.”
