One of Amazon’s warehouses in Illinois was struck by a tornado. Six workers lost their lives. There will be a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking, finger pointing, and investigations by OSHA and more. The tech giant will face critiques from many for not allowing phones on the floor, for not evacuating, and many more issues. It saddens me that we keep hearing bad things about Amazon, and I’m sure that we won’t stop hearing about them. In our own selfish quest to save a few dollars, Amazon has been encouraged by us to shave off those same dollars from wherever they could.
