Microsoft will allow you to run Windows 11 on unsupported hardware. But now they are adding a watermark saying it’s unsupported. It’s the latest guilt trip by Microsoft through Windows 11, to encourage you to spend more money on hardware. Right now it’s just annoying, but I’m concerned about the future approaches where they might decide to do what they have in the past, lock you out of various options, and htis time, for no other reason than to upset you.
You can run Windows 11 on unsupported hardware, but Microsoft doesn’t want you to, and a new desktop watermark proves the point.
