Of course, I must have an obligatory comment about Windows 11. They have added something called ClipChamp which is… Movie Maker. Sure, it’s updated a bit, and it’s in the new Microsoft model of pay for additional features. At $10 a month, that places it far more expensive than the many free options for video editing. HitFilm Express, DaVinci Resolve, Shotcut, OpenShot, Lightworks, and more. So why are they competing in a saturated market? Who knows.
