The return to office mode, even in the hybrid model of one day a week is already wearing thin. 3/4’s of Apple workers have already voiced their frustrations. This goes against a lot of what managers are saying, with equal numbers on the other side fighting back. It’ll be interesting to see how people adapt and change on both sides of this equation. Many would like to see incentives more than “you get to keep your job”, and that may not happen. Google is also reporting some adjustment issues after saying a while back that WFH was still on the table for most employees permanently.
