No longer surprising, streamers catch attention when they impact their many subsribers. Netflix has 220 million subscribers, and Disney’s overall streaming ownership (gimme a second) jumped up to 221 million. Now, that is all subscribers across Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Now that Disney is in first place, they’ll practice their experience from the amusement parts, and everyone will get hit with an increase. Disney+ alone is going up from $8 to 11.00, Hulu from $13 to $15, and the bundles will be jumping similarly. Still, there’s a lot of content across those platforms, with the Disney, Marvel, Star Wars libraries, as well as other big show names.

Disney+ is introducing an ad-supported tier that will be the cost of the current ad-free plan, and Hulu is getting a price increase, too.
