It’s no suprise, but someone at IBM paid for a survey. Companies that get breached with cyber attacks… do you think they eat that cost? Nope, we pay for it. New estimates place the cost of an attack at $4.4 Million, and that will show up in higher prices, especially at companies that have been hit more frequently. When they stgart thinking like this, it also means that they will be more lax in their interests to protect the consumer. Think about how stores have changed in regards to shoplifting, and now how they let us bag our own purchases. Ahh well…. think about where you are shopping before you give them your information.

The costs incurred by organizations suffering data losses continue to go up, and 60 percent of companies surveyed by IBM said they were passing them onto customers.
