Did you ever pickup one of the various Macbook, Macbook Air’s, or Macbook PRo’s that came with the butterfly keyboard? For a while, a lawsuit, and settlement have been working their way forward. Finally, the judge has provided approval for the $50 million settlement to wind it’s way forward. The butterfly keyboard was one of the more prominent failures out of Apple, with about $400 per person going to compensare for sticky and repeating keys, and various case replacements being required.
Years after Apple’s butterfly keyboards started acting up, it seems that the company is ready to settle.
Apple’s plan to pay $50 million to settle the class-action lawsuit has just received preliminary approval from a federal judge, pushing the case one step closer to its conclusion.
