Microsoft released their AI image creator, based on GPT-4 technology this week. I mention it as the first mainstream group that people would recognize. I decided to give it a shot, but frankly, it was lacking. I could ask for a cat in space and get it. I asked for a few other simple ones, and it varied on it’s success, but when I asked for a new logo for Computer Talk Radio, it provided gibberish. This is a downside to AI, in that you sometimes ask for what should be easy, but then receive something bizarre. We will continue seeing setbacks similar to this as AI shows how artificial it’s own intelligence is.

Bing Image Creator is a new AI tool that generates pictures based on your description. It works within Bing Chat, but there’s also a way to access it directly.
