Google had their announcements this week at I/O, about 4 weeks ahead of Apple. The latest iteration of the Pixel, branded the 7a, was expected. The Pixel tablet finally has specs and a shipdate of June 20. The Pixel Fold was a star for some, but a folding phone at $1800 is not exactly a friendly price. Android OS 14 adds some features while WearOS 4 improves battery life and backups, but both are for later this year. Google pushed a lot of their AI driven items, as we might have expected from any company in that space. All-in-all, it was a bit of a snooze.
