Verizon is rolling out some higher speeds on 5G. The latest is that they have received clearance for usage from the FCC has come through early, and as such, they’ll expand quickly to deliver to remote locations. You’ll need a newer phone or device for this service bump, but if you’ve purchased in the last couple of years, you may already be there.
Verizon now has all of the 5G spectrum it acquired in the 2021 C-band auction available to use and is bringing much faster 5G signal to nationwide customers, most crucially 40 million rural subscribers, in coming weeks.
