Netflix knows that they are the king of the streaming world, so they have upped their prices again. For the US, the prices are $2 more per month for the bottom tier, and $3 more for the top tier. The middle tier, Standard, is staying the same for now. This comes on the heels of a crackdown of account sharing, so they must have had some luck there. Comparing the rates to the other streamers is foolhardy, as the depth and breadth of their content is huge, if just a little haphazard. I’d like to see them bring back classic libraries like the 3 Stooges, that are gathering dust somewhere out there… but that’s just me.

Some prices are going up with immediate effect in the US, UK and France despite the apparent success of the password sharing crackdown
