Elon Musk, on Monday, spoke out against Apple Intelligence, advising the issues with OpenAi’s ChatGPT were too great to allow usage on his properties. The next day, Musk withdrew an ongoing lawsuit against OpenAI and its co-founders, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman. Musk had sued them for breach of contract and fiduciary duty. Musk claimed OpenAI shifted from a non-profit goal to a for-profit entity controlled by Microsoft. Despite the dismissal, Musk’s new AI company, xAI, is making waves with significant funding and its chatbot, Grok. We may be witnessing a rise in a new congoing series of conflicts amongst the various AI companies.
