Hertz is accelerating the sell-off of their Teslas with an end-date of the end of next year. They appear to be retaining and expanding on other nameplaces, however.
Hertz seems to be retaining and even expanding its EV fleet, but rather they are doing it with models such as Polestars, EV6, Bolts, and even the Silverado EV.
Teslas were always problematic as rental units, what with the need to pass Supercharger charges through to the renter (they didn’t always get it right when I rented), along with the very easily damaged, oversized wheels Tesla uses, slow body parts availability to repair customer damage, and Tesla’s price fluctuations.
