Logitech’s CEO made some off-the-cuff comments about a team in Ireland that was experimenting with a “forever mouse” that could be used for many years. I’ve got a half dozen Logitech M705’s in the house, and at least one is 10 years old, so this got some internet speculation going. The official word from Logitech, however, is that they are not working on something officially, no subscription mice, or anything like that, it was just casual answers on research into (in their words) “sustainable consumer electronics”.
