I love subtitled when I’m watching a movie or a TV show. It enriches the experience, especially when watching dubbed movies that may not portray the depth of language due to the need to match the lips to the words. It provides references to certain key sounds that you might miss. It allows for a quip while the movie rolls without missing the dialogue. An initiative that’s been around for a short while is gaining new traction. “Turn On the Subtitles” has found that it’s helping children to get better at reading!
