A little over a year away from the End Of Support for Microsoft’s Windows 10, and the folks in Redmon are starting to push even harder for all of us to upgrade. Now, as some people have used work-arounds to use Windows 11 on hardware that isn’t up to snuff, Microsoft released a patch that kills that workaround. Naturally, there’s a lot riding on Windows 11, new hardware, and more to support Microsoft’s CoPilot AI software, and even their hardware. 70% of systems are still running Windows 10, and instead of backing down, Microsoft seems to be pushing hard in attempts to get us to upgrade, spend more money with them, and their hardware partners. It’ll be an interesting year ahead.
