The fascination with AI has us weary. Some of the promises, some of the doom and gloom, and other experiences have all led towards a decline in interest. A Morgan Stanley strategist has noted that too many different AI pushes have caused people to lose interest in stocks of companies that push this. Consumers elsewhere have expressed attitude that this is no longer holding their interest, and that it’s more of a buzzword that has no real meaning. AI will continue to move forward, but even this weeks Apple event reflected scant reference to AI or Apple Intelligence, favoring just pointing out the new capabilities.
