Amazon Prime account holders can now save money on gas at BP, Amoco, and AMPM gas stations, if they load up a side app. This is part of an ongoing effort by Amazon to return more value to customers beyond the free delivery and streaming services. I checked out the signup, and the only hangup I have is that the app is much like more… wanting to send you messages, know your location, and more. So, I leave it up to you… is it worth a little privacy? A little more in notifications? I’m not fully sold on the idea, but this is going to be seen more and more in all of our regular interactions in life.
Prime members can now save $0.10 per gallon at approximately 7,000 bp, Amoco, and ampm locations across the U.S., enabling savings on average of nearly $70 per year
