Voyager 1, launched in 1977, is now running on an older radio, which they turned on for the first time since 1981. For now, it’s the furthest manmade object from earth at about 164 AU, with each AU being the distance between the Earth, and the Sun.
Voyager 1 communications have once again hit a snap, with the interstellar probe somehow turning off its main radio transmitter.
