Microsoft has changed direction, again, and will allow Windows 11 to be installed on older PCs now. This is one week after they said that TPM 2.0 is a mandatory requirement. So, how did they get past this? They now give you a disclaimer that cancels warranty, says that you can’t get updates, and a bunch of other requirements. This includes a watermark on your desktop, notifications, and more. This follows the latest news that Windows 10 usage has increased in the last month, instead of falling off.
Microsoft says you can install Windows 11 on incompatible hardware but does not guarantee a stable experience.
