Artificial Intelligence, aka AI, is still in it’s infancy. ChatGPT is just over 2 years old, and it’s usage, along with other Large Language Models (LLMs) are still very much in their infancy. They can be used for so much, but there are many competitors in the marketplace. When ChatGPT announced a new version at $200 a month, a pro mode, I was taken aback. Yes, they throw more processing power, and promise greater accuracy, but at a price that’s very steep. Regrettably, in this grand chase to be first to use AI in every facet of our world, many will pay this fee that don’t need it. This is a shifting marketplace, which means that others may be emboldened to turn this into profit, over improvement of our access to the Information Age.
OpenAI has launched a new subscription plan for ChatGPT, its AI-powered chatbot platform — and it’s very expensive.
